Pembrokeshire001Panorama of West End campsite. A spectacular view over St. Brides Bay, towards St. Davis and Ramsey Island
Pembrokeshire002 Cobbs and Jo's tent, West End campsite. The day we arrived was miserable drizzle. Next day, sun!
Pembrokeshire003Cobbs and sunset over the campsite. The deepest oranges and blues in the sky.
Pembrokeshire004 Sunset the next day. There is a bank of cloud between us and the sun, and the sun is peeping out beneath the cloud just before it sets.
Pembrokeshire005Pembroke Castle. View over Pembroke Town.
Pembrokeshire006 Keep at Pembroke Castle. Well preserved, very atmospheric.
Pembrokeshire007Cavern beneath Pembroke Castle. This huge natural cave opened out onto the adjacent river and was used for storing provisions. There is a winding staircase up to the castle, you can just see the door on the left.
Pembrokeshire008 Puffin, Skomer Island. These cute birds are not at all shy.
Pembrokeshire009Puffins, Skomer Island. The path runs across the clifftop, and the puffins would scuttle across the path to get their burrows. The braver ones would run right past your feet.

Pembrokeshire011Puffin with sand eels, Skomer Island
Pembrokeshire012 Puffins, Skomer Island. This one is right on the cliff. They fly around the like little helicopters, then plop down onto the very edge.
Pembrokeshire013Boat leaving Skomer Island. There was a long queue for the boat - about an hour. But we didn't mind because we were watching puffins and razorbills all around us, in the sea, in the air, on the cliff.
Pembrokeshire014 Robs and Jo, Carreg Samson. We found this big chunky dolmen in Julian Cope's book.
