Robyn and Fairy Princess Bridesmaid. Robyn designed Kimmy's dress, and made her tiara. Here they are in the coffee bar over the road from the Office of Home Affairs, waiting to go over the road... nervous??? |

At the Office of Home Affairs we joined the queue of people getting ID books, passports, paying fines etc. A bit different to a British registry office! |
We're both Coetzees! Joshua the registrar congratulates us both. |

The Royal Hotel. Riebeck-Kasteel is a hot, dusty Afrikaner town in the winelands. The Royal Hotel is a classic, single storey African hotel, green lawns, deep pool. |

Lunch outside the Royal Hotel. It was a gorgeous day and we had a long slow lunch, eating, drinking, chatting. |

My sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Byron Coetzee. |

In the evening some of us went to a cosy Mediterranean cafe, l'Atitude, and had pizzas and more wine... Byron, Robyn, Wendy. |
Wendy and Justin. Wendy is doing that trick where you look somewhere else, while she hides Justin's last slice of pizza behind her hand. |
Much much later. We had gone back to the Royal Hotel to make the most of the hotel bar - but it was CLOSED!!! So we scuttled back to the pub on the other side of the square and stayed until 3am. Brett considers some sharking... |

Robyn had organised a honeymoon for us, driving up the west coast of the Western Cape. This is a chalet in The Hot Springs, Citrusdal - the bath is outside, fed by a hot spring. |
Robs in the bath, braai flaming. Outside the chalet, Citrusdal. |

We had a panoramic view of the mountain range opposite, stretching kilometres into the misty distance in both directions. We watched it fade pink, purple, black as night fell. |
